Dear Parents & Guardians,
Our goal is to help our students with both their physical and mental development. We want our students to be well-rounded individuals.
To do so, each month we focus on a new character word that will help our students become leaders and role models in the local community.
Throughout November we will be working on the character lesson: TEAMWORK.
You can help support the lessons by reinforcing this behavior at home.
Below are some tips on how to compliment the lessons we teach about TEAMWORK this month:
-
Make a list of the chores that must be done around the house and have your child pick the chores that are appropriate for his/her age
-
Play family games and model good sportsmanship and fair play.
-
Have your child participate in helping with more difficult chores such as cooking, gardening, washing the car, etc.
-
Ask your child to maintain a Black Belt Bedroom throughout the whole month of November to show they are supporting you as a team player
Thank you for allowing us to be a positive influence on your children and we look forward to watching our students demonstrate their TEAMWORK skills in class this month.
